UNDERSTANDING THE LEAGUE TABLE
FOR THE YBL

 


  1. Number of Games Played  
 

Team has played the number shown for this competition.

  2. Win/Loss Ratio  
 

The ratio of wins and losses for the team, the first number are the wins for the team, the second smaller number, are the team's losses.

  3. Baskets for/against  
 

The number in white indicates points scored, the small number is what the opposing teams have scored accumatively against the team.

  4. Points Difference  
 

This is the number difference between the baskets scored and against for the team. If the number is in green, its a postitive number and if it's in red, it's a negative number.

  5. Game Points  
 

The number of points awarded for the team's wins and losses. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a loss (0 points if the game is forfeited).

 

  How teams are positioned on the table during the season.  
 

Table standings will be determined on the game points (pts) to rank teams. And baskets scored if the points are the same.

For single played competitions, the position will go on the head-to-head for those teams.

  How teams are positioned on the table at the end of the season.  
 

Table standings will be determined on the game points (pts) to rank teams in the first instance.

If at the conclusion of the season/competition the teams are on the same pts the league standings, their position will be decided by the head-to-head of those teams. If the head-to-head is identical the pts will be determined by points difference across those teams.

For single played competitions, the position will go on the head-to-head for those teams.
